From 2007 through to 2009 various works were completed for the United Nations Development Programme in Turkey. Earlier work included working as a designer on the GAP GIDEM project, a 7.5 million euro project run in conjunction with the EU Commission. The purpose of the project was to improve the entrepreneurial, operational and managerial capacities of existing businesses in the south-east of Turkey by providing information, training and advisory services.
In addition to providing design services for revamping the project identity, a field trip was undertaken and photographs of participating industries taken. Many of these images were later used in UNDP publications.
Subsequent work required researching and writing a report identifying and budgeting visibility requirements for a major new UNDP project in Şanlıurfa, Turkey.
